Become a Member

Qualifications for Regular Membership

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Be of Good Moral Character
• Submit Completed Application
• Pass Medical Physical
• Complete Fire Academy within 1 year of joining the department
• Those with Firefighter I Certification upon joining will have to complete a 6 Month probationary period
• Must make 25% of the calls
• Within the first six months must attend 3 drills and 3 meetings

Associate Membership

• In addition to the qualifications for regular membership
• Must have 2 years of previous firefighting experience
• Completed New Jersey Firefighter 1
• Must attend 6 drills and 6 meetings

Junior Member

• Must be between 16 and 18 years old
• Be of Good Moral Character
• Submit Completed Application signed by parents
• Pass a Medical Physical
• Live within the Fire District
